APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are made through the receptionists by dialing (423) 756-4796, Monday through Thursday, 9:00am until 4:30pm, and Friday, 9:00 am until 1:00pm.
Our receptionists are vital to our practice, and to a large degree, keep our office running smoothly by efficient scheduling of patients. However, they are not medical personnel and have not had proper training to answer questions regarding your medical care. Any questions about your medical treatment, medications, lab results, or other concerns related to your care should be directed to the nurses or doctors.
TELEPHONE CALLS
The nurses return phone calls in order of urgency. All calls are returned within 24 to 48 hours. Calls for prescription refills should be made ONLY during office hours.
FINANCIAL/INSURANCE INFORMATION
We participate in most commercial insurance plans, including, but not limited to:
Blue Cross Blue Shield; Aetna; Cigna; United HealthCare; Medicare.

We will gladly file your insurance for you, however we do request your portion (co-payment, deductible, co-insurance) be paid at the time of check-in (or we will need to reschedule your appointment). These payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card. (We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.)
REFERRALS
If your insurance requires you to have a referral to see a specialist, we request you bring this with you at the time of your visit, or your referring physician may fax or mail your referral to our office. If you are seen without a referral, you will be responsible for charges incurred at that visit, or you may be rescheduled.
NEW PATIENTS
Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow us time to copy your insurance information and create a chart. Please fill out the enclosed information and bring with you to your appointment. In addition, please bring your insurance card and a photo ID.
